Overview
The pomegranate flower is a beautiful offspring of its tree. Known for its bright red attributes, they are a smallish shrub that grows just about 16 to 33 ft high. With a diameter of about 1.2 in, this tree is native to the surroundings of Persia, present-day Iran. The tree thrives in summer and warmer climates including in India, parts of Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Mediterranean basin. Spanish America, California, and a handful of other places also have a thriving population.
Benefits
Pomegranate flowers are rich in polyphenols, which provide antioxidants, anti -inflammatory and antigenogenic benefits. They help handle high blood pressure, cholesterol, oxidative stress and hyperglycemia. Pomegranate powder is also effective for pimple exposed skin, and prevents the spread of bacteria and fading pimples. It works against hyperpigmentation, the skin color in the evening for a bright, shiny color. The powder reduces fine lines and wrinkles by moistening the skin and promoting young appearance. With vitamin C it revives the skin cells, the skin lights up. Antioxidants in pomegranate provide natural UV protection, prevent photo-aging and skin cancer. They help with skin cell renewal, tissue repair and healing wounds, and reduce signs of sun damage and aging. Pomegranate also balances sebum production, fights against acne and soothing irritable skin. Using a pomegranate in the face pack or tones can illuminate the skin, lighten it clinging and exfoliating.
How to Use
For Reducing Pigmentation:
Take 2 tablespoons of pomegranate flower powder add milk to make a fine paste. Apply it to your face and neck area and let it dry for 15 – 20 minutes. Once it is dry spray some water onto the dried mask to make it a little damp then rub the mask and massage gently for 2 – 3 minutes and wash your face with water and pat dry.
Repeat this process 2 – 3 times a week for 40 – 50 days for visible results.
For acne-prone skin:
Take half a teaspoon of pomegranate flower powder add half a teaspoon of multani mitti. Add water to make a fine paste. Apply it to your face and neck area and let it dry for 15 – 20 minutes. Once it is dry spray some water onto the dried mask to make it a little damp then rub the mask and massage gently for 2 – 3 minutes and wash your face with water and pat dry.
Repeat this process 2 – 3 times a week for 40 – 50 days for visible results.
