Henna Overview & Benefits:
Henna is a plant whose leaves are used in medicine and cosmetics. It’s known for its uses in treating diarrhea, ulcers, skin conditions, and infections. Henna is a popular, natural, and safe hair dye, offering a chemical-free alternative. It has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties, soothing and cooling the scalp. Henna helps reduce split ends, balances scalp oil, and restores pH levels, promoting healthier hair. It can also treat dandruff, prevent premature greying, and strengthen hair by sealing the cuticle, improving shine and texture.
Henna has a long history of use for treating skin conditions like burns, wounds, and eczema. Its cooling and antiseptic properties aid in reducing inflammation and infections. It is also helpful for reducing fever by promoting sweating and cooling the body. Additionally, henna detoxifies the liver, helping to clear toxins from the body when consumed as a herbal drink.
