Overview

Eclipta prostrata, commonly known as false daisy, yerba de tago, Gunta kalagaraku/Gunta galagaraku, Karisalankanni, and bhringraj, is a species of plant in the family Asteraceae. It is widespread across much of the world. This plant has cylindrical, grayish roots.Bhringaraj is a creeping herb that grows to a height of 3 metres. It has a long stalk and white coloured flowers which are solitary, winged and about 6 to 8 mm in diameter. The leaves are sessile, lance-shaped and arranged in the opposite orientation. It has distinct cylindrical and grey coloured roots. The herb mostly grows in the moist regions of India, China, Nepal, Thailand, and Brazil.

How To Use

Hair Pack for Growth:

Mix 1 cup of yogurt with 1 tbsp of Bhringraj and Shikakai powder. Apply for 20 minutes, then rinse with mild shampoo.

Hair Pack for Greys:

Heat 1 tbsp of Bhringraj powder with 2 tbsp of coconut oil. Massage into the scalp, leave for a while, and wash with mild shampoo.

How to Consume:

Take ¼ – ½ tsp of Bhringraj powder with water twice daily after a light meal for 1–2 months to promote hair growth and reduce greying.
